We are a local charity making a real difference to thousands of older people across the area.
We are increasing our services and staff/volunteer numbers and are seeking a friendly, motivated and experienced Information and Advice Manager to lead, develop and implement our valuable information and advice service.
As Information and Advice Manager, you will be part of a great team and will have a direct impact on people’s lives by ensuring that older people in our community receive the support and guidance they need.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective information and advice strategies.
- Leading and managing a team of information and advice advisers.
- Coordinating outreach and communication with local partners and stakeholders.
- Monitoring service quality and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
We are looking for an individual who can work 25‑37.5 hours a week, mainly from our central Reading office but with some hybrid working.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Relevant experience in information and advice roles, ideally within a charity or community setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical abilities.
- A commitment to supporting older adults and meeting their needs.
