To further expand our Highways team, we are looking for a Senior Engineer to join us in Bristol. Working closely with your peers, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of highway schemes and access road designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and participating in the production and delivery of the geometrical design
- Checking designs and drawings prepared by other engineers
- Undertaking traffic signs and road markings design
- Carrying out RRRAP assessments
- Defining Road Safety Audit briefs and responses
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Key Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Achieved Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or be working towards it
- Experience working in a design environment on Highways projects in the UK
- Demonstrable skills in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridge (DMRB)
- Experience in Civil3D and Autodesk products
- Sound understanding of CDM Regulations
- Preferred experience in ProjectWise
