This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous estimating experience, ideally within the construction sector, who enjoys working collaboratively whilst managing their own workload and delivering accurate quotations within deadlines.
The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by preparing accurate cost estimates and working closely with clients, suppliers, design teams, and contractors.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentationPreparing detailed project cost estimatesUpdating and revising estimates as projects progressLiaising with suppliers to obtain competitive quotationsMaintaining accurate records and documentation within the CRM systemCollaborating with internal design teams and external sales teams on new and existing projectsAbout You
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience in an Estimator roleConstruction industry experience (desirable)Strong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to work to tight deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood organisational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including TeamsExperience with estimating software would be advantageousA minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and MathsWhat’s in it for You?
