Administrator / Meet and Greet Volunteer
To be the first point of contact for families at our centres, providing administrative support and helping ensure the smooth running of the service.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and help with initial queries
- Encourage new users to register with the service
- Support admin tasks such as data entry, filing, and resource preparation
- Ensure the reception area is welcoming and well‑organised
Skills, Abilities, Experience and Qualities
- Computer literate, telephone and listening skills, basic IT and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly and professional manner
- Training and support (induction, safeguarding, expenses, regular supervision and feedback; frequency of 1:2:1 support)
- A full induction to the service and specific site will be provided
- Requirement to undertake One YMCA online training courses
- Understand and implement One YMCA’s policies
- Ongoing support and regular 1:1 meetings
- Access to organisational events throughout the year including socials, conferences and training opportunities
Additional Information (DBS, policies, language, medical check, provide own equipment)
- Undergo enhanced DBS check
- Undertake additional training as and when required
- We offer to pay volunteers’ out of pocket expenses within agreed guidelines
