Role: Regional Operations ManagerLocation: WelbournSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Company carShift: 40 hour week

Looking for a job where your skills make a difference every single day? My client, a leading national industrial door specialist, is looking for a positive, proactive Regional Operations Manager to help support their expanding service operations in your region. You will be responsible for ensuring sustainable business growth occurs. You will work cross‑functionally with different areas of the business which are primarily field managers, engineers, stores/manufacturing, field sales, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent service to regional and key account customers, ensuring SLA and KPI targets are consistently met
  • Managing job turnaround times, first‑time fix rates, and clear customer communication throughout
  • Driving additional work opportunities (AWR) and supporting revenue growth through the field team
  • Planning and coordinating engineer diaries, workloads, and daily operational activity
  • Creating and uploading contracts onto Protean and maintaining accurate system records
  • Ensuring all plant, access equipment, travel, and accommodation are arranged in advance of works
  • Supporting engineer productivity and working with senior coordinators to optimise operations
  • Reviewing completed jobs for invoicing, follow‑on works, and system accuracy
  • Coordinating PAT testing and ensuring compliance standards are met
  • Supporting financial performance including regional targets, aged job reduction, and P&L awareness
  • Identifying key accounts and supporting service growth opportunities within the region
  • Maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting with real‑time system updates
  • Escalating data issues and supporting continuous improvement across the operation

Qualifications

  • GCSE English (A*-C or equivalent) – essential
  • GCSE Maths (A*-C or equivalent) – essential
  • Previous management experience – essential
  • Experience working to KPIs and performance targets – essential
  • Experience managing service delivery and/or engineers – desirable
  • Understanding of industrial doors and/or loading bay products – desirable
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and customer‑facing skills
  • Professional and confident approach
  • Friendly and approachable manner
  • Calm and composed under pressure
