Overview
Lead and support operational areas of Ormiston Forge Academy, working closely with the Principal to drive strategic development of facilities, estates, health and safety, and ICT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage facilities and estates, including capital development plans.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, site lettings, and minibus regulations.
- Oversee ICT infrastructure management and future development plans.
- Coordinate operations of the academy mountain centre.
- Lead staff engagement and operational strategy implementation.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 4 qualifications, ideally in a relevant area.
- Experience managing staff at a senior level.
- Awareness of current IT developments and competence in their use.
- In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relevant to the education sector.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations relating to premises management.
- Knowledge of asset management and procurement financial regulations.
- Understanding of GDPR and its application to the role.
