Role Description
The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based near our head office. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including researching target markets, generating qualified leads, and building relationships with prospective and existing clients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing proposals and presentations, supporting the sales pipeline, and collaborating with technical teams to align service offerings with customer needs. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, monitoring industry trends, and providing input into business development strategies to drive growth.

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to evaluate opportunities, understand industry trends, and support data-driven decisions.

- Relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within technical, engineering, or electrical services sectors.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on-site in Aylesbury on a regular schedule.
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Formal education in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a similar role.
