Project Manager – Integrated Delivery Services
Working hours: Full time 37 hours per week; flexible working arrangements including part time will be considered.
Permanent position.
Salary: up to £64,688 per annum (depending on experience).
Location: Hybrid working with office location Hanningfield, Chelmsford.
About the Role
Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a new opportunity? We have exciting opportunities to join our Integrated Delivery Services team, working on short cycle projects across our water assets, ensuring they meet regulatory timelines, deliver business benefits and provide customer value.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects ranging from £500K to £20m, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget and agreed quality expectations.
- Use strong communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders across the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to achieve business outcomes and customer value.
- Drive innovation in Project Management and continuous improvement by leveraging industry best practices.
- Manage project governance, benefits tracking, proactive risk management and change controls in line with investment procedures.
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental outcomes through compliance with company standards, legislation and CDM regulations.
Qualifications
- Experienced in Project Management within Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Rail & transport, environmental or critical infrastructure environments.
- Proven expertise in contract management, procurement and appropriate engineering contracts.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commitment to obtaining or holding an industry recognised project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check before employment.
- Awareness and commitment to health and safety, meeting company standards and CDM regulations.
