Job Overview
The Document Control Administrator will join a site‑based team in Avonmouth to manage project documentation for a six‑month contract with potential extension. This role is full‑time, based at the Cimpor site at Bristol Docks (BS11). The salary is £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all project documents in an accurate and easily accessible manner.
- Handle, scan, store and verify all site documents and orders efficiently.
- File and archive all relevant documentation in line with project and business requirements.
- Update and develop document registers and databases to enable professional retrieval of files.
- Provide basic admin support to the site management team: daily office duties, ordering plant, materials, consumables, printing, and overall office management.
- Maintain site records, meeting notes, induction records and support the project and commercial functions.
- Liaise with the client document control team to ensure project and business compliance, including use of 4Projects and other similar document control software systems.
Success Measures
- Accurate filing system.
- Efficient and timely recording and storage of data and documents.
- Clear communication with the project team to provide accurate support.
- Maintenance of deadlines and compliance with document control procedures.
- Positive client and project team relationships.
- Accurate data collation and use in the O&M project submission.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum five years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to complete multiple daily tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Previous experience with document software such as 4Projects and SharePoint.
- Ability to work on one’s own initiative.
- Team player.
