The firm is looking to hire a Vice President into its London investment team, focused on vertical SaaS and B2B software. The VP will work across the full investment lifecycle, including thematic sourcing, market mapping, company evaluation, transaction execution, investment committee preparation and portfolio support. The role requires someone who can build relationships with founders and management teams, develop conviction around attractive software markets and help drive new growth equity investments across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess high‑growth private companies through thematic research, market mapping, founder outreach and adviser relationships.
  • Lead analysis of new investment opportunities, including business model quality, market size, competitive positioning, SaaS metrics, unit economics, growth levers and valuation.
  • Build and review financial models, returns analysis, downside cases and investment committee materials.
  • Support due diligence workstreams across commercial, financial, legal, technology and management referencing.
  • Work with portfolio companies on growth strategy, go‑to‑market execution, pricing, international expansion, M&A and senior hiring.
  • Represent the firm externally with founders, management teams, advisers and the wider technology ecosystem.

Candidate Profile

  • The ideal candidate will have approximately 6–9 years of experience across growth equity, technology private equity, later‑stage venture capital, technology investment banking or software‑focused strategy consulting.
  • They should have strong exposure to B2B software and a clear understanding of recurring revenue models, SaaS KPIs, customer retention, sales efficiency, pricing and go‑to‑market dynamics.
  • Requirements
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Experience assessing software or technology‑enabled services businesses.
  • Ability to evaluate SaaS metrics including ARR, net revenue retention, gross retention, churn, CAC payback, LTV/CAC, gross margin and sales efficiency.
  • Strong commercial judgement and ability to build independent investment views.
  • Confidence engaging with founders, CEOs, CFOs and senior advisers.
  • Excellent written communication and investment committee preparation skills.
  • Collaborative, intellectually curious and low‑ego working style.
  • European language skills would be helpful but are not essential.
