A leading global travel technology organisation, is looking for a Head of AI – Global Marketing to lead the development and delivery of an AI-first marketing strategy across its global Travel Unit.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how artificial intelligence is embedded across the entire marketing lifecycle — from strategic planning and campaign execution to content creation, customer engagement, and go-to-market activation.
Working at the intersection of marketing strategy, data, and emerging AI technologies, you will help define and implement a scalable operating model that delivers measurable improvements in marketing performance, efficiency, and innovation.
The Role
As Head of AI – Global Marketing, you will lead the creation and execution of the AI roadmap for marketing and ensure AI capabilities are embedded into day-to-day marketing operations across global and regional teams.
You will collaborate closely with marketing leadership, technology teams, and enterprise AI functions to design an AI-enabled marketing ecosystem that improves speed, relevance, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the AI Marketing Strategy
- Define and deliver the global AI strategy across marketing planning, campaign execution, content creation, and customer engagement.
- Develop and continuously evolve the AI roadmap for marketing in line with business priorities and new technological capabilities.
- Ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable improvements in marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
Embed AI Across Marketing Operations
- Introduce AI-enabled workflows to improve marketing speed, scalability, and execution quality.
- Partner with marketing operations and technology teams to embed AI into existing marketing processes.
- Enable smarter campaign management, personalisation, and data-driven marketing execution.
Design an AI-First Marketing Operating Model
- Help design and implement an AI-first marketing operating model that integrates strategy, planning, execution, and activation.
- Align marketing transformation with the organisation’s broader enterprise go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure the operating model supports global scalability while maintaining flexibility for regional teams.
Governance and Responsible AI Adoption
- Work closely with corporate AI, technology, legal, and risk teams to ensure responsible and compliant AI adoption.
- Align marketing AI initiatives with enterprise governance frameworks and platforms.
Build AI Capability Across Marketing
- Drive adoption through training, playbooks, and communities of practice.
- Build confidence across global marketing teams in applying AI in day-to-day marketing activities.
Measure Impact
- Define and track KPIs demonstrating the impact of AI on marketing performance and pipeline generation.
- Establish reporting frameworks to measure adoption, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Stay Ahead of Innovation
- Monitor emerging AI tools, platforms, and industry trends relevant to marketing and the travel ecosystem.
- Translate innovation into practical solutions that maintain competitive advantage.
Required skills
You will bring:
- Extensive experience in enterprise B2B marketing environments.
- Proven experience delivering AI-enabled or data-driven marketing initiatives at scale.
- Strong understanding of AI applications across the marketing lifecycle including planning, campaigns, content, personalisation, and activation.
- Experience designing or influencing marketing operating models and go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to work across global, matrixed organisations with multiple marketing functions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to partner with technology, data, legal, and risk teams.
- A pragmatic approach to implementing AI while ensuring business continuity
