As Practice Manager, you will take a key leadership position within the firm, overseeing the delivery of high-quality client services while supporting the ongoing growth of the practice. Working closely with the firm’s directors, you will play a central role in managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing accounts preparation work and providing expert tax advice. A strong understanding of personal and corporate taxation will be essential, alongside specialist knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning. You will be confident advising clients on complex tax matters, identifying tax-efficient strategies and delivering commercially focused solutions. There is considerable opportunity within the local market, and the successful candidate will help identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships and support the firm’s long-term strategic objectives. You will possess excellent technical knowledge across accounts preparation and taxation, with particular expertise in Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and wider tax planning matters. You may be ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, although qualified by experience candidates with the relevant technical capabilities will also be considered. Strong leadership skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients are essential. You will be proactive, driven and motivated by the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing practice.
