Synergi are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a manufacturing business based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

This is a hands-on, mechanically biased position where you will support the Maintenance Manager with the upkeep, repair and smooth running of factory machinery and general site maintenance.

The Role

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on factory machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs
• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activity
• Assisting with general site maintenance, including buildings, grounds and workshop areas
• Keeping the maintenance workshop clean, organised and safe
• Working closely with production and the wider site team

What We Are Looking For

• Mechanically biased maintenance experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, factory or production environment
• Hands-on approach to fault-finding and repairs
• Relevant engineering qualification
• Good record keeping
• Able to work well in a team and use own initiative
• Reliable, practical and willing to support where needed
