Freelance Sub Agent – Wind Farm Project (Girvan Area) A well‑established civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Sub Agent to support a major wind farm development near Girvan. This freelance role offers 6+ months of consistent work, supporting the delivery of complex civils packages on a large‑scale renewable energy project. You’ll be joining an established team on a project with strong workflow, long‑term stability, and the chance to contribute to a high‑profile renewable scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site coordination — Lead day‑to‑day operations, ensuring safe and efficient progress.
  • Subcontractor management — Oversee subcontract teams and maintain productivity across civils activities.
  • HSEQ compliance — Uphold safety standards, deliver briefings, and ensure RAMS compliance.
  • Programme support — Assist with planning, sequencing, and progress reporting.
  • Quality assurance — Monitor workmanship and ensure all works meet specification.

Requirements

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • Strong background in civil engineering
  • Experience on large‑scale infrastructure or renewable projects is advantageous
