As a Housekeeping Assistant you’ll help create a welcoming and comfortable home for residents by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. Your work will play an important role in supporting residents’ comfort, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life through the effective management of laundry and housekeeping duties. Wash, dry, iron and distribute residents’ personal clothing and household linen to a high standard* Maintain accurate labelling and organisation of residents’ clothing and belongings* Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively, following all procedures and guidelines* Monitor stock levels of laundry and cleaning supplies and report any requirements* Support the cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas as required* Help maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents* Work as part of a team to support the smooth running of the service You will take pride in your work and understand the importance of providing a high-quality service that supports residents’ dignity, comfort and wellbeing. You’ll be reliable, organised and have excellent attention to detail, ensuring clothing and linen are cared for and returned correctly. Previous laundry, housekeeping or cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
