Alynd takes a different approach. It helps users build a structured record of their actual career evidence, then use that record to create targeted CVs, compare them against real job descriptions, identify gaps, and refine the application with specific, defensible detail. The value is not “AI writes your CV”. The value is that Alynd gives serious applicants the tools to search their own experience properly, select the right evidence, and tailor each CV with accuracy.

The product is already technically led. What Alynd now needs is a commercially-minded co-founder who can help turn the product into a market: building awareness, speaking to users, creating demand, testing go-to-market motions, and shaping the commercial direction alongside the technical founder.

This is not a normal job and it is not a freelance marketing role. It is for someone who wants to help build the company from an early stage.

The Opportunity

Alynd is looking for a non-technical co-founder to own the commercial side of the business: marketing, go-to-market strategy, sales, partnerships, social content, community building, and early customer discovery.

You do not need to be a programmer. You do need to understand technology well enough to explain why Alynd matters, why the product is different, and why career records, evidence-backed CVs, AI-assisted tailoring, and interview preparation belong in one connected workflow.

The strongest fit is someone with commercial instincts, strong communication skills, and real appetite for building. Experience around universities, student communities, graduate recruitment, careers services, or employability would be especially valuable because students and early-career users are an important initial market for Alynd.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as commercial co-founder and strategic partner to the technical founder.
  • Define and test Alynd’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Build early awareness through social media, founder-led content, community activity, partnerships, and direct outreach.
  • Create momentum around the product without making claims the product cannot support.
  • Speak directly with students, graduates, job seekers, careers teams, recruiters, and employability stakeholders.
  • Identify the strongest initial customer segment and buying motion.
  • Lead early sales conversations, user interviews, demos, and partnership discussions.
  • Shape messaging, positioning, pricing, packaging, and launch strategy.
  • Turn user feedback into clear product and market insight.
  • Support ongoing market analysis, competitor tracking, and product-market fit work.
  • Help decide where Alynd should expand next, including university-facing workflows, graduate support, mature professional use cases, and broader career intelligence features.
  • Build the foundations of a future growth, sales, partnerships, and customer success function.

What We’re Looking For

  • Commercial instinct and strong communication skills.
  • A real interest in startups, technology, careers, education, recruitment, or graduate employability.
  • Ability to create content, tell the story of a product, and build attention around it.
  • Comfort speaking to users, pitching ideas, asking direct questions, and following up.
  • Strong bias toward action rather than theory.
  • Good understanding of social media, community building, and modern startup growth.
  • Ability to work independently without needing a mature company structure around you.
  • Enough technical awareness to understand the value proposition, even if you do not write code.
  • Willingness to work closely with the product and help shape commercial priorities from real market feedback.
  • Founder-level commitment, not employee-level detachment.

  • Recruitment, talent, HR tech, edtech, SaaS, or career coaching.
  • B2B partnerships, especially where trust and relationship-building matter.
  • Launching new products, validating markets, or creating early go-to-market motions.
  • Local startup, education, recruitment, or tech ecosystem involvement.

This role is less about having the perfect CV and more about having the right energy, judgement, and intent.

Alynd does not need someone who is only looking for a new job title. It needs someone who wants to build, learn, test, sell, create, and keep pushing when the path is not obvious.

The right person will be commercially sharp, curious, persistent, and genuinely interested in the problem: helping people represent their career evidence properly, apply with more confidence, and prepare from what they have actually done.

Compensation & Ownership

There is no salary at the beginning. The expectation is that compensation becomes possible through revenue, funding, or agreed commercial milestones.

This role is for someone with enough flexibility and conviction to help build the company before it looks obvious from the outside.

The ideal person wants ownership, responsibility, and upside. They want to help define the market, not simply execute someone else’s marketing plan.
