As an Associate Project Manager, you will be expected to work with a Project Director or Regional Director to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects. This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies, option development, construction tender support through to NEC Project Management or JCT Contract Administration. Client-side project management, including stakeholder, schedule and contract managementBe the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing)Develop strong collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and members of the multi-disciplinary project teamLead in the delivery of Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful outcomeManage the efficient delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standardsOversee the co-ordination and sign-off of all management information produced by the project management team prior to issueProvide line management and mentoring to all staff members reporting to you, ensure that they have current and relevant training to develop their careers and support our clientsParticipate in business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities, ensuring that these are identified and acted uponLead and or input into bids with existing and new clients as the opportunities ariseManagement of other Project Managers and Early Careers on your projects and commissions, making affective use of resource at your disposalClient-side project management, including stakeholder, schedule and contract managementPublic sector project delivery experience an advantage with preferred experience in commercial and residential sectors an advantageSupport the Regional Project Management Lead with wider team management If you’re passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you.
