A highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor or Senior Associate to join a specialist practice advising recruitment agencies, staffing businesses, MSPs, RPO providers, umbrella companies and wider workforce solutions clients.

This is a rare opportunity to develop genuine expertise in a niche area of employment law that sits at the intersection of employment status, IR35, contingent workforce arrangements and complex labour supply chains. The team is recognised for its work within the recruitment and workforce solutions sector and advises a broad client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to national and international organisations.

The Role

You will advise clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:

• Employment status and IR35 issuesn• Agency Worker Regulations and recruitment sector compliancen• Contractor and consultancy arrangementsn• Employment Tribunal litigationn• Restrictive covenants and team movesn• Disciplinary, grievance and redundancy mattersn• Workforce restructuring and labour supply chain issuesn• Regulatory investigations affecting recruitment and staffing businesses

You will work closely with an established team of specialists while also having the opportunity to build your own profile within a growing and increasingly important area of law.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Walesn• Strong employer-side employment law experiencen• Associate or Senior Associate leveln• Experience advising recruitment agencies, staffing businesses or workforce solutions clients would be advantageousn• Candidates with exposure to employment status, IR35, contractor arrangements or atypical worker issues are also encouraged to applyn• Commercial, client-focused and interested in developing a sector specialism
