An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Responsible Business Manager to join a leading international professional services firm headquartered in London, within a hybrid working culture. This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will take ownership of the firm's global environmental sustainability programme, shaping and delivering initiatives that sit at the heart of its wider Responsible Business strategy.
The Opportunity
You will play a pivotal leadership role in driving sustainability across a global platform, working with senior stakeholders and external partners to embed environmental best practice into operations and culture. This is an ideal role for someone who combines technical sustainability expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and programme delivery experience. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & DeliveryLead the development and execution of the global environmental sustainability programmeDrive carbon reduction initiatives, including science-based targets and external reportingCompliance & StandardsEnsure adherence to environmental legislation and best practiceOversee engagement with leading frameworks such as EcoVadis, ISO14001, BREEAM, NABERSStakeholder EngagementEngage employees across international offices to drive local and global sustainability initiativesPartner with business functions to embed sustainability into core operationsGovernance & PolicyMaintain and evolve environmental policies and governance structuresSupport senior leadership engagement on sustainability topicsPartnerships & Continuous ImprovementManage external sustainability partnerships and membershipsDrive innovation and continuous improvement in environmental performance
About You
Proven experience in a sustainability or responsible business role, ideally within a global professional services environmentStrong understanding of carbon reporting, emissions data, and sustainability frameworksDemonstrated ability to deliver complex programmes and influence senior stakeholdersCommercially aware, with the ability to align sustainability with business prioritiesExcellent communication, organisation and project management skills
