Your New Role

As an Interactor, part of the Show Experience team, you’ll be an ambassador for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter by guiding, entertaining and enlightening visitors on their magical journey. You will engage with authentic props, sets and costumes from the Harry Potter films and share your passion for filmmaking through detailed storytelling, scripted speeches, special effects demonstrations and expert insights.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Proactively engage visitors to deliver a world‑class experience and anticipate their needs.
  • Present a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable interface between the tour and visitors.
  • Actively listen and lead with empathy, integrity and transparency.
  • Seek ways to support the team in exceeding visitors’ expectations.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to the franchise and visitor experience.
  • Conduct added‑value tours and assist in audio‑descriptive tours as required.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the show and visitor experience.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy workspace and clean sets as required.
  • Adhere to and champion all WBD guidelines and policies.
  • Stand for up to five hours, perform light lifting, work outdoors in all weather, and interact with live show elements; occasional training outside core hours may be required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Understanding of the Harry Potter film series and filmmaking.
  • Previous customer/visitor‑facing experience with a strong emphasis on service quality; on‑stage experience is desirable.
  • Presentation skills – enthusiastic public speaking to groups up to 300 on a microphone, including scripted and improvisational elements.
  • Demonstrable ability to learn new skills and adapt in a visitor‑focused environment.
  • Able to contribute positively and work effectively as part of a large, varied team.

Working Pattern

Contracts range from 16 to 40 hours per week. Weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) is required. Normal hours are between 8 am and 10 pm during peak summer and weekends, 8 am to 8 pm at other times, with some evenings finishing at 00:30. Shift start times can begin as early as 7 am. 

A free shuttle bus from Watford Junction is provided, but use of the service is unavailable outside opening hours; candidates must arrange alternative travel in those instances.

All patterns include weekends and bank holidays (full‑time contracts); part‑time contracts are proportionate.
