Position Overview
As an Investment Implementation Vice President within Oak Pensions Asset Management, you will be responsible for the effective implementation and execution of the investment strategy across the portfolio, ongoing operational support and oversight, and operational risk management and mitigation.
Purpose of the Role
To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Manage change projects within the organisation, delivering them on time, within scope, budget and quality standards.
- Develop and manage project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines and resource requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams and external partners to ensure project progress and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and required skills.
- Manage project budgets and ensure delivery within the agreed budget.
- Create reports on project progress and ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage project risks, identifying, assessing and mitigating risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
- Facilitate change management activities, including training and communication, to embed change projects into the organisation.
- Oversee onboarding and transition of external investment managers, maintain investment infrastructure and oversee cash and liquidity management.
- Support operational risk management and mitigation, ensuring all activity aligns with governance standards, robust controls and audit trails.
- Oversee contractual and market documentation, onboarding processes and cash, liquidity and FX processes.
- Utilise Aladdin and related systems to support portfolio implementation, transaction lifecycle oversight and data integrity.
- Support data, controls and onboarding processes, ensuring accuracy across reporting and decision‑making systems.
- Maintain knowledge of private assets, derivatives and oversee end‑to‑end transaction execution and cash management.
- Contribute to supplier oversight and operational due diligence, stakeholder management ensuring service quality and issue resolution.
- Lead risk mitigation and process improvement initiatives, including use of AI tools.
- Oversee operational readiness for new investment products and system capabilities for new assets.
Vice President Expectations

Qualifications
- Experience in Investment Banking, Asset Management, Consulting, Operations or Risk and Control Function.
- Experience with front‑office portfolio IMS systems (ideally Aladdin and CRM systems).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organisational, prioritisation and leadership abilities.
- Working knowledge of global custodians and Swift.
- Experience with pension fund investment operations or transition management.
- Project or change management execution experience.
- Understanding of risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology.
- Possession of mandatory regulatory qualifications or meeting internal company benchmarks (PRA & UK FCA regulations).
Additional Information
The role is deemed a certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority – Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications.
