Technical Director – Electrical Engineering

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Director – Electrical Engineering to join our expanding data centre design team in London. The role involves leading the electrical design for key parts of our data centre project portfolio, collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver innovative and complex designs.

Responsibilities

  • l.be a recognised leader in data centre electrical design ideally across multiple international location
  • s.Be familiar with typical electrical distribution typologie
  • s.have a track record in running an electrical design team in a design consultanc
  • y.Have extensive experience of working with data centre end users and/or general contractors delivering these project
  • s.have a track record in delivering project designs at all project stage
  • s.have extensive experience of working with data centre sector client
  • s.have operated as an electrical lead and be able to demonstrate previous experience of ensuring technical excellence, productivity and oversight of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring team cohesion toward project goal
  • s.be able to demonstrate a strong understanding the data centre sector and understand market trend
  • s.be able to contribute to Board reporting and business development strategie
  • s.manage project coordination, QA/QC procedures, and risk managemen
  • t.mentor and inspire our design engineers across all level
  • s.effectively communicate across all business level

Qualifications

  • EEDDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and Charter
  • ed.Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with previous experience of delivering Data Centre projects from a design perspecti
  • ve.Deep knowledge of data centre typologies including current and emerging technologi
  • es.Someone who can assist with strategic team growth and contribute to wider business development strategi
