Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling site activities to ensure safe, timely and high-quality project delivery.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed in line with programme, specification and safety standards.
  • Manage Mechanical, Electrical and Civil site installation schemes across water and wastewater treatment sites.
  • Lead daily site operations to ensure compliance with SHE legislation, contractual timescales and specifications.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks, site inductions and safety briefings.
  • Ensure accurate documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments and testing records.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and in-house teams to coordinate delivery and logistics.
  • Monitor site costs, contribute to progress reports and attend project meetings.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the water and/or sewage sectors, ideally gained on active construction sites.
  • An industry‑relevant ONC / City & Guilds / NVQ qualification.
  • Site‑based experience in infrastructure / water‑related projects.
  • SMSTS, IOSH or CITB 5‑Day Site Safety certification.
  • A relevant CSCS card, First Aid training and EUSR accreditation.
  • Organised and professional approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Passion for quality, safety and customer service.
