A global Real Estate firm are looking to hire a Financial Reporting Manager to take ownership of reporting and controls within a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a high-visibility role combining technical excellence, team leadership, and real impact across the organisation.
As Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll be accountable for the integrity of financial reporting, leading a small team while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
You’ll play a key role in driving best-in-class reporting, strengthening controls, and continuously improving processes in a fast-paced, international environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Own balance sheet integrity and financial control frameworks across multiple entities
- Manage, develop and mentor a small team of accountants
- Deliver high-quality management reporting, including meaningful insights and performance analysis
- Oversee statutory reporting and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors, managing the audit process end-to-end
- Drive improvements to the month-end close process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with senior stakeholders to interpret financial results and support decision-making
- Drive initiatives around system optimisation, process optimisation, automation, and governance
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with extensive post-qualified experience
- Audit background preferred
- Proven track record in financial reporting, audit, or financial control leadership roles
- Experience operating in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP
- Prior experience leading or supervising teams
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence at a senior level
- Commercially aware, with a focus on continuous improvement and value-add reporting
