Nursery Room Leader – Play House Day Nursery

Band 5, 37.5 hours per week, Based at Sutton, Surrey.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to care for the children of staff at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The role requires a reliable, flexible team member who shows initiative and commitment, and can communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team to provide a safe, welcoming, and warm environment for group care of babies, toddlers and pre‑school children.
• Develop the social, emotional, physical and intellectual capabilities of the child, providing a learning environment that offers a range of play experiences and activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Level 5 qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Level A–C in GCSE English.
• Experience working effectively with a staff team in full‑day care.
