Associate Sales Director
As an Associate Sales Director, you will contribute to various phases of the Sales lifecycle and be intensely involved in client relationship management and business development.
Responsibilities
- Build sales plan, pursuit strategy, and business pipeline, and collaborate with leadership to convert the pipeline and achieve targets.
- Manage relationships with key client personnel, including CXOs and CXO-1, and understand the organizational culture of the client.
- Sell concepts to the client and influence decision‑makers to award business based on capability and track record.
- Conduct research and competitor analysis to define strategies that enable favorable outcomes.
- Apply expert knowledge of MSA and other contract processes and standards, understanding their nuances and interdependencies.
- Lead client presentations, workshops, and pricing discussions, including gain‑share and alternate sourcing models.
- Provide input for building alliances with relevant product and service vendors.
- Farm business solutions and manage client relationships in Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics domains.
- Lead large, multi‑location consulting engagement teams when required.
- Create and lead proposal presentations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- 8‑15 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Track record of growing existing accounts and building relationships with C / C‑1 level client contacts.
- Reasonable understanding of the Global Delivery Model and the IT service industry.
- Experience managing large, multi‑location consulting engagement teams.
- Hands‑on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience across a wide variety of IT and business consulting engagements.
