Responsibilities
- Lead technical specification and architecture for communications engineering projects including software, signal processing, AI, RF engineering and relevant testing.
- Provide technical leadership on projects involving high‑speed design, FPGA verification and firmware.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders in a consultancy capacity.
Qualifications
- Strong academic university background in electronics (PhD level preferred) with excellent understanding of electronics theory and fundamentals.
- Extensive real‑world project experience in electronic circuit design, high‑speed design, high‑level layout and FPGA design & verification.
- Expertise in at least one of the following: application processors, FPGAs and SoCs for data throughput and power consumption; embedded interconnects such as DDR4, QSPI, PCIe, JESD204; ECAD tools (Altium Designer); C and Python on Linux, Verilog/VHDL; DSP applied to RF.
- Consultancy project experience and defence project background with security clearance are advantageous.
