Personal Tax Manager / Senior Manager
£50,000 – £70,000 + Benefits – Bolton / Manchester
Overview
Your new firm is a well-established leading accountancy firm in the North West with several offices across the region. We are seeking an experienced personal tax compliance specialist to lead the compliance function.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and partnerships.
- Review and sign off personal tax returns prepared by the team.
- Provide proactive tax planning advice and identify opportunities for clients.
- Support junior team members with technical guidance and development.
- Liaise confidently with HMRC and handle complex queries.
Qualifications
- CTA, ACA or ATT qualified (or equivalent) with solid personal tax experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication skills – you will be the go-to adviser for your clients.
- Ability to manage deadlines and lead projects with confidence.
