Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Plastic Surgery Coordinator at Great Western Hospital, Swindon for a full‑time permanent role (37.5 hours per week). The Coordinator will support Cancer Services as an integral member of our multidisciplinary teams, providing a proactive and facilitative clinical pathway navigation service.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical teams to ensure patient care is delivered effectively and timely, in line with national guidance.
- Provide administrative support to consultants and clinical staff, managing accurate bookings to deliver high quality service for patients.
- Facilitate smooth daily functioning of the department by acting as a focal point of communication with patients, families, GPs and Cancer Services.
- Maintain clear communication channels across multidisciplinary teams.
