  • Contract: Fixed term or Secondment for up to 24 months due to additional workload

Your role and responsibilities

As a Commissioning and Contract Officer in the Provider Support Team, you will work with colleagues, partners and communities to build trust, share ideas, and deliver services that make a lasting impact. You will deliver engaging, high‑impact workshops (e.g., Dementia, Age Simulation Suit Training, Record Keeping, Safeguarding) empowering providers to deliver exceptional care. Working closely with Contract Officers, you will help identify development opportunities across the sector and drive meaningful improvement for providers and our service users.

  • Engage regularly with Contract Officers to create development opportunities within the care market.
  • Deliver high‑quality, engaging workshops to providers within Suffolk’s care market.
  • Provide feedback to Contract Officers, including learning reviews.
  • Attend seminars and co‑production events to identify best practice and trends in the care market.
  • Support the development of workshops when gaps or opportunities are identified.
  • Manage time efficiently, be organised and a good communicator.
  • Build strong professional relationships.
