Job Summary

Position reference: 50146477.Directorate: Public Health and Communities, Service: Safer Communities.Salary: £35,412 – £38,220 per annum.Working arrangements: Hybrid with occasional evening and weekend work.Hours: 37 per week.Contract type: Fixed term until 24/06/2028.Flexible working arrangements are available.Closing date: 10/07/2026.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the Evening and Night‑Time Economy delivery plan and associated project activity.
  • Use data, feedback and partner intelligence to identify issues, hotspots and emerging risks.
  • Support action to reduce violence, antisocial behaviour, exploitation, spiking and non‑domestic abuse.
  • Prepare project updates, reports, briefings and monitoring information for governance and funding requirements.
  • Engage with partners, venues, businesses and communities to promote safer behaviours and access to support.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting projects, partnership work or community‑based activity.
  • Strong organisational, communication and engagement skills.
  • Confidence using information and data to support planning and reporting.
  • Awareness of community safety, safeguarding, vulnerability, trauma‑informed practice and evening and night‑time economy issues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
