Requirements
- Experience in IT Infrastructure, 2nd Line or 3rd Line support, with a strong interest in solving technical challenges across a broad technology estate
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies
- Experience with VMware vSphere and virtualisation
- Experience with SQL Server environments
- Experience with LAN, WAN and firewall technologies
- Experience with Linux, ideally Ubuntu
- Knowledge of cyber security best practice
- Experience creating technical documentation and sharing knowledge
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Experience in manufacturing environments would be advantageous
- Experience with AWS, GCP, SAN storage, SSL certificate management or emerging AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support across core infrastructure technologies
- Support Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Maintain VMware, on-premise infrastructure and virtualised platforms
- Assist with networking, firewall and security technologies
- Contribute to infrastructure projects from planning through to implementation
- Create clear technical documentation and share knowledge across the wider IT team
- Help maintain secure, resilient and highly available IT services across the business
