Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Salary: £70,000 – 100,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong commercial Python development experience
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience building automation frameworks or internal tooling
• Experience with Jinja2 templating
• Experience with Puppet or other configuration management tools
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks in Python
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Create reusable code generation platforms using Jinja2
• Develop PowerShell automation for Windows environments
• Manage configuration through Puppet
• Build internal developer tools and automation platforms
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Work alongside Cloud and Platform Engineers to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
