Requirements
- We need extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 across key HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Talent, Learning, Recruitment, Absence, and Helpdesk.
- We need a strong understanding of Oracle ERP processes and operating practices, supported by broader ERP exposure such as SAP, Workday, or PeopleSoft.
- We need proven ability to produce clear requirements and functional specifications for system enhancements and regulatory changes.
- We need effective cross-team collaboration skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working within a shared service environment would be advantageous.
- We need demonstrable ability to lead minor projects, releases, and change initiatives.
- We need technical proficiency with PL/SQL, Java, BI Publisher, and similar tools.
- We need understanding of delivery and project methodologies, including Agile, Prince2, and ITIL.
- Successful candidates may be required to undergo Security Clearance, and applicants must normally have lived in the UK for at least the last five years and be able to satisfy background, identity, and criminal record checks.
Responsibilities
- We act as the functional lead for resolving issues and delivering change requests for HR and Payroll aspects of our ERP system.
- We identify opportunities to replace, upgrade, and improve people and system processes by providing subject matter expertise, guidance, advice, and input into architectural, technical, design, and implementation solutions.
- We document change, continuous improvement, project‑based, and business‑as‑usual support requirements and system specifications with a high degree of accuracy, working with key stakeholders to clarify, refine, and validate.
- We build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, third-party suppliers, and system implementers.
- We work with and support Product Delivery Leads, Technical Team Leads, and other Digital & Information teams and stakeholders to support and lead testing activities, ensuring issues are recorded and resolved.
- We communicate information at the right level to drive decisions and actions.
- We support ad hoc projects and other work relevant to the role in line with business requirements.
- We provide coaching and training to clients and team members to increase technical knowledge.
