Job Description:

Senior Data Analyst | Scaling FinTech | West London (Hybrid)

I am partnered with an award-winning, fast-growing FinTech platform backed by premier global institutional investors. They are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst into a high-impact, visible role within their central data hub.

This isn’t a traditional, reactive reporting desk. You will act as a senior technical analyst, building the high-integrity core datasets and structured data warehouses required to support a rapidly expanding, high-volume lending and credit infrastructure.

If you want to move beyond standard report-building to actively design a modern, scalable self-service data environment, this is the perfect next step.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop optimised data assets and robust data marts to facilitate seamless self-service analytics across Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
  • Manage end-to-end requirements gathering to design and deploy enterprise-level Power BI dashboards focusing on high UI/UX quality and user adoption.
  • Direct automated workflow development and audit internal SQL/DAX scripts to systematically eliminate technical debt and boost processing speeds.
  • Oversee peer code-review processes for SQL and DAX, verifying logic accuracy across the team and providing technical mentorship to junior peers.
  • Conduct deep-dive, predictive analysis to steer commercial strategy and deliver actionable metrics directly to executive leadership.

What they are looking for:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of data analytics experience with a clear path of progression from pure technical execution into strategic business delivery.
  • Prior experience navigating fast-paced environments within FinTech, consumer banking, or highly regulated corporate spaces.
  • Mastery of complex SQL queries (optimisation and debugging) paired with advanced Power BI data modeling and sophisticated DAX calculations.
  • Openness to incorporating LLM tools and prompt engineering techniques to accelerate code optimization, testing, and documentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate ambiguous business briefs into concrete technical roadmaps.

What’s on offer:

  • Up to 20% annual performance bonus
  • Hybrid working (3 days onsite in West London) with a dedicated home-office equipment budget
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing with tenure) plus your birthday off
  • Private healthcare options, corporate pension schemes, and wellness allowances
  • Highly competitive lifestyle benefits and progressive family-friendly policies
  • Accelerated career trajectory as the centralized data function scales

Please note: Applicants must possess valid, unrestricted right to work in the UK. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
