AI Engineer

Requirements:

• We are looking for an engineer with experience in AI and machine learning.
• We would value experience in AI solution integration, data science, or data engineering.
• We would like strong Python skills.
• Experience with OpenAI or generative AI would be beneficial.
• Proficiency with TensorFlow or PyTorch would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch or graph databases such as Neo4j would be useful.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Terraform would be beneficial.
• We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and add value from day one.
• We would like someone comfortable mentoring junior developers when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Join our Edinburgh engineering team to help build a new ML and AI team.
• Work on a new product that will have a significant impact on the service we provide to our customers.
• Contribute across a range of modern technologies and help drive forward new products and tech.
• Add value to the project from day one.
• Mentor junior developers when needed.

We are building a new ML and AI team within our Edinburgh development centre, which currently has around 15 engineers and is continuing to grow. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with two days onsite, and this is a 6-month contract role inside IR35 with a strong chance of extension. The day rate is £500 to £600 depending on experience and the value you can bring to the project.
