IT Asset Manager

Salary: £50,000 – 80,000 per year

Requirements

• We require extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations, ideally within a regulated industry.
• We require strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools such as ServiceNow.
• We require experience in a large regulated financial services environment, preferably banking, or alternatively insurance.
• We require proven experience building frameworks in a greenfield environment rather than only working in BAU.
• We require a detail-oriented and compliance-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• We will lead ownership of the lifecycle process for physical IT assets.
• We will take responsibility for the transformation of our hardware asset management function across EMEA.
• We will build out IT asset management frameworks in a greenfield environment.
• We will strengthen governance and resilience across our technology estate.
• We will align our IT asset management practices with global standards and regulatory frameworks such as DORA.
• We will ensure full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation for hardware assets.

We are a banking business building a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management to shape the future of asset management across our EMEA operations. This is a permanent hybrid role based in London City with home working 50/50, offering a salary of £60,000 to £80,000. You will join us at an exciting time as we strengthen our technology governance and resilience, working in a greenfield environment where you will help design frameworks rather than only support BAU. The interview process consists of two face‑to‑face stages with our business team.
