Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian Job, Bristol, Bristol, England

Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join a night team on a part-time annualised-hours rota. This role would suit a confident vet with strong emergency and inpatient care skills, good surgical judgement, and the ability to work calmly in a sole charge overnight setting.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing out-of-hours consultations and emergency case presentations overnight
• Providing inpatient care, including exotic inpatient support where required
• Receiving case transfers and making clear clinical decisions during night shifts
• Carrying out diagnostic investigations, medical treatment plans, and surgical procedures
• Working with the wider clinical team to maintain safe and consistent patient care

Package:

• Out-of-hours emergency and critical care caseload
• Sole charge responsibility during overnight shifts
• Part-time night role on annualised hours
• Average of 12 hours per week
• 1 in 3 rota pattern with two weeks off between night blocks
• Monday to Wednesday night shifts from 8pm to 9am
