Clinical Research Nurse/Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking to recruit a clinical research nurse or clinical research co‑ordinator to join our established research delivery team at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Trust and support recruitment to clinical research studies in a wide range of specialties including paediatrics, cardiology, dermatology, diabetes, anaesthetics, surgery, oncology, reproductive health, rheumatology and stroke.

Our research portfolio is growing steadily as we further our aim of increasing participation in research.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment to clinical research studies.
• Work closely with research nurses and assistants to set up new studies.
• Support patient recruitment into those studies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in clinical research.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively to meet competing demands.
• Self‑motivated individual looking to develop skills and knowledge in managing research studies within the NHS.
