Senior UX/UI or Product Designer – Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

We are looking for a highly skilled UX/UI or Product Designer focused on Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and experimentation to join our dedicated CRO squad. In this hybrid role you will craft, optimise, and deliver high‑performing digital experiences across desktop and mobile, driving user engagement and maximising conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process for A/B testing, multivariate testing, landing pages and ongoing optimisation initiatives across web and mobile platforms.
  • Develop detailed user flows, interaction models, wireframes and high‑fidelity prototypes specifically optimised for experimentation and user validation.
  • Create pixel‑perfect UI designs that respect and elevate client brand guidelines, utilising persuasive design patterns and clear conversion‑focused hierarchies.
  • Work with and support tokenised design systems, ensuring scalability, efficiency and consistency across a multi‑brand environment.
  • Design and optimise unique, tailored user journeys for client sub‑brands while adhering to core design system architectures.
  • Focus on landing‑page layouts, micro‑interactions, persuasive copy placement and checkout/signup funnel optimisation to minimise friction.
  • Translate user feedback, testing data and statistical results from A/B tests into actionable, iterative design recommendations.
  • Ensure all experiment designs are technically feasible and collaborate with developers to provide specifications and review builds for high‑fidelity execution.

Collaboration & CRO Advocacy

  • Work closely with CRO strategists, web analysts, product managers and front‑end developers in an agile squad environment to manage multiple experimentation pipelines.
  • Advocate for data‑informed, evidence‑based design decisions, presenting concepts and rationale clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to and maintain conversion‑oriented design libraries, templates and documented best practices to scale optimisation efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Desirable: Experience designing for A/B testing, personalisation, CRO or landing‑page optimisation where design decisions have been informed by user insight, performance data or test learnings.
  • Tokenised design system mastery: Deep understanding of working with and leveraging tokenised design systems in Figma.
  • Multi‑brand navigation: Proven ability to design distinct user journeys for multiple sub‑brands.
  • Digital commerce & product context: Experience designing high‑converting experiences for e‑commerce, transactional sites, lead‑generation pages or digital products.
  • Exceptional portfolio showing end‑to‑end design process with user insights, data, or test hypotheses.
  • Mastery of UX & conversion principles, user psychology, persuasive design, usability standards, responsive layouts and platform‑specific guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Figma and prototyping, creating structured, scalable files and realistic prototypes.
  • Technical understanding of front‑end capabilities (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to ensure designs are technically feasible.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, adept at presenting design rationale to stakeholders and working in agile cycles.
  • Accessibility and performance expertise: Knowledge of WCAG and page performance considerations.

Benefits

Permanent role offering a competitive benefits package, including a discretionary bonus scheme, training opportunities, pension, medical insurance, life assurance, social events, family‑friendly policies, retailer discounts and more.
