Position Overview
This is an office‑based role focused on managing group and event enquiries. The role supports the GCE Manager in driving and managing conference, events, and group sales, ensuring exceptional service delivery from enquiry to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervisory responsibilities: support GCE Manager with daily team operations and strategic planning, guide, train, mentor junior members, delegate tasks, monitor performance, assist onboarding, and contribute to development plans.
- Sales & revenue generation: convert group and event enquiries into confirmed bookings, maximise bedroom, meeting room, and event space revenue.
- Client relationship management: build strong relationships, conduct site visits, client meetings, and showcase the hotel’s offerings.
- Event coordination: liaise with F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping to ensure seamless delivery, prepare detailed function sheets, attend and support events.
- Administration & reporting: maintain accurate records in booking system, prepare reports on sales performance, booking trends, client feedback, monitor team productivity and suggest process improvements.
Reporting Structure
- Reports to GCE Manager (region to be specified).
- Supervisory responsibility for GCE Executives.
- Role may expand to cover all Apex Hotels and locations as business needs require.
