South East, England | £44.4k – £55.5k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

Step into a role where you’ll shape the delivery of essential infrastructure projects that keep communities safe, warm and connected. As a Project Manager within our Construction Direct Labour team, you’ll lead the successful delivery of replacement and reinforcement works across the South East – ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are followed and replacement projects are compliant with CDM regulations and delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Achieving SGN’s strategic objectives.
- Interpreting management information to ensure the delivery of targets in either Tier 1 / Tier 2 replacement, reinforcement and diversions (depending on experience).
- Focusing on the delivery of safety, performance, people, customers and environmental priorities.
- Investigating, reviewing, and implementing new techniques to drive continual innovation and development.
- Communicating effectively at all levels, including stakeholders, customers, local authorities and other external bodies.
What You Will Need
- The ability to manage the effective and efficient running of the construction workload. Operational experience is therefore an essential requirement.
- An analytical approach that will enable you to identify operational issues and implement effective and efficient solutions.
- The skill and drive to successfully deliver depot targets whilst guiding behaviours to make our company the leading operator of gas networks in the UK.
- A commitment to safety and the need to provide our customers with the very highest levels of service; you will have appropriate technical experience and qualifications to succeed at this level.
- Previous management/supervisory level experience; good influencing, coaching and communication skills and the ability to always work with honesty and integrity.
This post will involve travel and therefore a full valid driving license is essential.
