This role would suit an experienced Field Service Engineer based in Birmingham, who comes from a Fire/Security background and is ready to be the Lead Engineer for a team of three ambitious apprenticeship‑level engineers.
In this role, you will be split between sites and offices in the Midlands with regular travel to sites nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Work across multiple disciplines including: Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV systems
- Ensure compliance with current regulations and standards (e.g. BS 7671, BS 5839, NSI standards where applicable)
- Liaise with SSAIB for audits & inspections
- Lead installations, commissioning, servicing and handover of security systems
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of UK regulations and industry standards
- Commutable distance to Birmingham
