Technical Repair Engineer

Qualifications

• ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1)
• NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating
• 3 years’ qualified experience of fault finding and diagnosis
• Electrical knowledge including wiring and fault finding on S‑plan, Y‑plan and combination systems and boilers
• Experience working across a range of boiler and central heating system manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with the help they need, when they need it.
• Attend annual service visits and complex breakdowns.
• Represent British Gas in the customer’s home and uphold the Service Promise of same-day fixes.
• Work as part of a team of experienced Gas Engineers and collaborate with managers, mentors and colleagues.

Remuneration

• Base salary £47,303 with uncapped OTE; realistic expectation £54,400 through field reward scheme.
