About the role
Our client is growing and seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of innovative lighting control systems across commercial projects.
This is a hands‑on, site‑based position with full training available for trainee‑level candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Commission and configure lighting control systems on site
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams
- Ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines
- Produce clear documentation and reports
- Travel across London and surrounding areas as required
About you (requirements)
- Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing ability
- Willingness to travel within your region
- Experience in commissioning, electrical installation or building services (desirable)
- Trainee applicants welcome with a proactive, hands‑on attitude
