The Role
My client is a firm of engineering consultants with offices across the U.K. They are now seeking a Structural Engineering Graduate with one to two years of experience after graduation, who has experience of design and structural analysis to join them in Leeds, West Yorkshire. You will work with a leading consulting engineering firm on a range of building structures, including offices, retail, residential and industrial sectors. My client offers excellent training and support for working towards chartered status.
The Company
My client is a firm of engineering consultants working on a variety of projects, including building structures, infrastructure, transportation and more. They have several UK offices and provide strong support for those wishing to become chartered with MICE or MIStructE.
The Candidate
You will need to have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and one or more years of experience as a structural engineer on design and structural analysis. Experience with design software such as TSD, Tedds or similar programmes is desirable. You must be able to provide technical support for report writing and presentations, attend design and site meetings, conduct site inspections, and liaise with contractors and other consultants during construction. You should already have experience working in a UK consulting engineering firm and hold a full, clean UK driving licence to access remote sites. Good communication skills are essential.
Salary will be negotiable based on experience, ranging from GBP28,000 to GBP34,000, plus pension and a range of benefits including training towards chartered status, a pension, personal health care plan, life insurance, 25 days holiday, and additional perks.
