Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in Renfrewshire. 3‑week rotation – days/backs/nights. A well-established manufacturing business in the Paisley area is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its engineering team. This is a busy, fast‑paced production environment where reliability and quick fault‑finding really matter, so you’ll enjoy solving problems and keeping machinery running.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime
• Work on a range of production and process machinery
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures

Qualifications

• Time‑served Maintenance Engineer or equivalent qualification
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong fault‑finding skills on electrical systems
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Proactive approach and ability to work well within a team
