A well-established leading company based outside of York is looking for an experienced, highly motivated multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join the business. Preferably with experience from a manufacturing or distribution sector background. This is a varied role, over a large site with a dynamic, friendly environment.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include:
- Deliver effective support in checking, repairing, and servicing machinery, equipment, systems, and infrastructures.
- Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably, including planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain full plant operation with reactive and PPM (Preventive Planned Maintenance) and strong Health and Safety awareness.
- Assist with calibrating fixed and portable temperature monitoring equipment.
- Ensure machinery and equipment operate smoothly and reliably.
