Junior Controls Engineer (Training on DCS Programming)
Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 (OTE 65K+) + 10% Bonus + £7000 Car Allowance + Healthcare + 12% Pension. Location: Warrington.
Are you a Controls, Systems, Automation or similar Engineer looking for expert training on how to programme Distributed Control Systems for this OEM, a global leader in intrinsically safe automation? Do you want to be recognised as a technical expert within DCS programming and specialise further into functional safety, gaining TÜV certifications? In this role you will be trained on the programming of this company’s redundant automated safety systems used within the manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical and oil & gas industries. You will also have to travel to site and off‑shore to commission the control systems, being paid overtime and off‑shore rates.

The Role:
- Programming distributed control systems used for industrial automation
- Flexible hybrid working with up to 3 days at home per week
- Full training on their bespoke systems
- Occasional travel and off‑shore work for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Every other Friday off
The Person:
- Controls Engineer or similar
- Ability to program Programmable Logic Controllers or Distributed Control Systems
- UK Driving Licence
