Production Manager

Position Overview

Production Manager – Chorley (Site‑based, full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm)

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team to deliver customer orders safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Plan production capacity and coordinate resources to achieve productivity, quality and customer‑service targets.
• Coach, develop and support team members to build a highly engaged, multi‑skilled workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring equipment is maintained and operating effectively.
• Provide operational leadership during periods of absence and support the Site Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and motivating teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, resource management and operating performance.
• Solid understanding of timber frame or roof‑truss manufacturing is highly advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and solve problems effectively.
• Proactive leader passionate about continuous improvement, quality and health & safety.
